job_description.job_card.job_descriptionPerforms on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment Troubleshoot equipment problems Maintain records and reports as required for manufacturing operations Coordinate activities with peers and supervisor(s) to minimize equipment downtime and interruptions Responds to emergency service calls as required Instruct operating technicians on system operation and maintenance when needed Perform upgrades and modifications to equipment as needed Remain current on equipment / tools through appropriate training, manuals, factory periodicals, and other relevant materials Must maintain standards of conduct acceptable to both WGNSTAR and customers to maintain credentials for being on customer site(s) Requirements : 3 + years of experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of semiconductor equipment. Experience with Pressure vessels, Vacuum Furnaces, Plasma etching, Wet Etch, Chemical Mechanical Polish (CMP) is highly desirable Experience with PLC systems and automation equipment is highly desirable Understanding of technical issues involving the maintenance, repair, and processing of equipment and company procedures Strong troubleshooting, problem solving and critical thinking ability. High levels of professionalism and customer interface skills. May be required to walk up to 5+miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hrs at a time, ability to bend, twist, push / pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds.
