A 37-bay emergency department

Job Description

Responsible for greeting and registering all incoming patients and their representatives; ensuring necessary information required for admission is accurately recorded and processed while maintaining confidentiality within HIPPA guidelines. Plays a pivotal role in the operational efficiency of healthcare services delivery. This position requires individuals who are detail-oriented, adaptable and equipped with the necessary experience and skills to handle the demands of the dynamic healthcare environment.

Qualifications

Shift : PER DIEM VARIED

Education :

High School or equivalent preferred.

Experience :

Minimum of two years hands-on experience in a hospital registration setting or Urgent Care preferred. Possess a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies involved in patient admission.

Technical Skills :

Computer proficiency includes word processing and patient accounting system. HIPPA and PCI Compliance required. Insurance knowledge preferred.

License / Certification :

None

Other :

Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patient. Some positions may require accurate interpretation and translation in a bilingual targeted language.
