Facility : Hospital offering a wide range of healthcare services, including emergency care, cancer treatment, heart services, surgical care, maternal and child health, and behavioral health services. Opportunity : Looking for Trauma Service APP (PA or NP) Coverage! Candidate should not have just critical care experience, must have Trauma Schedule / Availability Requirements : June 5-6 and June 17-21 July and Aug all month, looking for 7 on / 7 off preferably PM shift (3 p.m. to 1 a.m.) May be some 6a-4p shifts, new locums cannot work those shifts in the beginning as there is not much support on those shifts Setting : Level II Trauma Center Required Procedures : Low / moderate risk procedures such as laceration repair, IV access / IV insertion-peripheral line, fracture and dislocation reductions (minimal / moderate displacement). High risk procedures : G-tube placement, endotracheal intubation, cardioversion / defibrillation, LMA, paracentesis, chest tubes, central and arterial line placement. EMR : Cerner Care B Support Staff : There will be one other Trauma NP / PA who works day shift (7a-5p). Compensation : Competitive weekly pay and malpractice included.
