We're hiring a Social Media Obsessed Athlete Marketing Associate - Powerlifting & Gym Scene Are you passionate about powerlifting, gym culture, and discovering the next big names in fitness? We’re looking for someone who truly understands the space—someone with an eye for emerging talent and the ability to help athletes grow their presence both online and offline.
If you’re immersed in social media, stay ahead of trends in the gym world, and have a genuine passion for building athlete brands, this is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of the fitness industry.
In this role, you’ll manage athlete relationships, scout rising powerlifting talent, and stay plugged into everything happening in the fitness community.
What You’ll Be Doing : Finding Influencers Who Get It :
Scouting Talent : They find influencers who vibe with the brand and its audience. They’re all about looking for creators who have strong engagement, real followers, and authentic content.
Staying Ahead of Trends : They’re always on the lookout for up-and-coming influencers and hot trends so they can keep campaigns fresh and relevant.
Planning & Launching Campaigns :
Contributing to the Strategy : They work with the marketing team to come up with campaign ideas that hit the mark. Whether it's a product drop or a viral moment, they make sure the campaign’s goals are clear.
Setting the Vibe : They give influencers the deets on what kind of content is needed (like key messaging or hashtags) while letting the influencers keep their unique style.
Handling Deals & Relationships :
Sliding Into DMs : They reach out to influencers, pitch collaboration ideas, and negotiate terms, ensuring both sides are on the same page about payment, content, and expectations.
Building Long-Term Bonds : They don’t just work with influencers once—they build lasting relationships that lead to future collabs and more opportunities.
Tracking the Vibes :
Monitoring the Campaign : They keep an eye on how campaigns are performing, checking stats like reach, likes, shares, and sales to see what’s working and what’s not.
Crunching Numbers : After the campaign ends, they analyze the data and figure out what went well, what could be better, and how to improve next time.
Content Approval :
Making Sure It’s Fire : They check the content before it goes live, making sure everything aligns with the brand’s vibe and feels authentic.
Collaborating on Ideas : They might help influencers brainstorm cool content ideas that will get people talking and sharing.
Managing the Budget :
Staying on Track : They keep an eye on the budget, making sure the money is spent in the best way possible and that influencers are getting paid fairly for their work.
Teamwork Makes the Dream Work :
Cross-Department Collabs : They work with other teams—like social, PR, creative, and product—to make sure the influencer campaign fits in with the brand’s overall plan
Our North America Office is based in NYC. Candidates can work in our NY Office Hybrid. You must also be authorized to work in the United States .
WHAT YOU'LL NEED :
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field
MUST have experience in influencer marketing and / or social media marketing
Ability to manage competing priorities and effectively manage workflow to ensure timely completion of deliverables
Ability to work well under pressure, both as part of a cohesive team and as an individual contributor
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred Skills :
Interest in health and fitness
Passion for social media and pop culture
SALARY RANGE
The range is between $60,000 - $80,000. The base pay offered is based on market, experience, and skills.
