- Occasional overtime may be required to ensure exceptional patient care.
- Weekend work is rare but may be necessary in unique circumstances.
About the Role
As a Registered Dietitian , youll be a vital part of our interdisciplinary clinical team, providing expert nutrition services and medical nutrition therapy tailored to each patients medical goals. Youll work in a fast-paced, patient-centric environment where your clinical judgment, communication skills, and compassion will shine.
This role involves :
Direct patient care and nutrition counselingCollaboration with physicians and clinical staffDevelopment of educational materialsPrecepting interns and mentoring new staffEnsuring continuity of care and documentation excellenceResponsibilities
Deliver age-appropriate, culturally sensitive nutrition counselingEvaluate and monitor nutritional status using established guidelinesCollaborate with physicians to integrate nutrition into treatment plansMaintain RD credentials and participate in professional developmentAttend meetings and contribute to committees as neededUphold strict confidentiality and professional standardsWhat Were Looking For
Degree in Food & Nutrition, Dietetics, Nutritional Sciences, or related fieldCompletion of a coordinated program or 900+ supervised hoursLicensed Dietitian / Nutritionist (LDN) in North CarolinaMinimum 1 year of post-graduate experienceProficiency in EMR systems, voice dictation (Dragon), and documentationStrong clinical judgment and ability to work independentlyAdaptability, teamwork, and a commitment to patient-first careIdeal Candidate Traits
