Job Description

As a Security Professional - Industrial Site Patrol in Aurora, IL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication to all personnel and visitors. By conducting routine patrols and remaining visible, you will contribute to a secure environment and support a culture built on teamwork, integrity, and putting people first. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or security-related incidents. Working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols to the appropriate personnel.

Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and maintaining visitor logs as required by site procedures.

Support the enforcement of company policies and procedures related to security and property protection within the manufacturing and industrial environment.

Collaborate with site staff and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and provide recommendations for improvements as needed.

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
