The Crowne Plaza Pittsburgh South is looking for a Food and Beverage Supervisor to help our team provide excellent service to our guests, focusing on the Banquet Department.

The Food and Beverage Supervisor will assist our F&B Manager in leading banquet operations in accordance with established guest service and IHG Brand standards.

Who we are :

The Crowne Plaza is the South Hills’ only Full-Service hotel, featuring multiple ballrooms and meetings rooms, along with a restaurant. The hotel is managed by Prospera Hospitality, a proud to be Pittsburgh based hotel management company with over 20 years of experience managing hotels, restaurants, and convention centers.

What you'll do :

• Supervise Banquet events, leading the team to ensure proper set up and execution of client wishes.
• Meet with clients and meeting planners to gather any last-minute changes to better ensure success.
• Ensure that food quality is consistent, appealing, and prepared to guest specifications.
• Interact with guests to obtain feedback on quality of service and food in outlet and banquet facilities.
• Ensure that the food service complies with sanitation and safety standards for guests and associates.
• Resolve guest complaints and coordinate with other department leaders to resolve service delivery or quality breakdowns.
• Abide by all state, federal, and corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages.
• Oversee serving staff to ensure proper liquor controls are in place and all cash handling policies and procedures are followed. Comply with all accounting policies.

The work schedule will vary from week to week and may include working on holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts.

Previous F&B experience is required.

Previous Hotel experience is preferred.
