Senior Project Manager II – Inpatient Authorization

Location : Hybrid (Must reside in Nashville, TN)

Pay Rate : $62 / hour

Schedule : Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM

Dean’s Professional Services is actively seeking a Senior Project Manager II – Inpatient Authorization to join our client’s team. This role is ideal for an experienced project management professional with a strong background in healthcare operations and a proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives.

The Senior Project Manager II will independently plan, monitor, and manage multiple high-visibility projects across various teams, departments, and client locations. This position serves as the single point of accountability, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage multiple medium-to-large-scale projects across departments and service centers.

Serve as the primary liaison with stakeholders across Parallon, Service Centers, Divisions, and Facilities.

Develop and maintain strategic project documents, including Charters, Communication Plans, and detailed project plans.

Proactively identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure successful outcomes.

Oversee and mentor project staff, ensuring high-quality deliverables and integration across teams.

Facilitate decision-making and drive progress to achieve project milestones.

Create implementation documentation such as toolkits, migration schedules, and project reports.

Ensure all project results meet technical quality, reliability, schedule, and cost objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.

Minimum 5 years of experience managing multiple projects to completion, preferably in healthcare, financial services, clinical operations, supply chain, or IT environments.

2 or more years of management or leadership experience preferred, ideally within the healthcare industry.

Experience with HCA Healthcare, HealthTrust, or Parallon strongly preferred.

Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential.
