Ability to read and comprehend basic instructions, memos, and shipping reports. Ability or willingness to work with computers for daily data entry. Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to successfully pass forklift certification. Ability to regularly lift and / or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Ability to stand up to 8 hours a day. Vision requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Exposure to Electro Magnetic Fields. EMF fields can interfere with some medical implants, including pacemakers.

Lakeside is currently seeking a skilled 1st Shift Material Handler to join our dedicated team. This is a key role responsible for precision welding and assembly of stainless steel products that meet our high-quality standards and customer specifications.
POSITION HIGHLIGHTS :
- Schedule : 5-day workweek – Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts
- Shift : 1st Shift 7 : 00 am - 3 : 30 pm
- Overtime : As needed, additional hours are available before or after scheduled shift
- Work Environment : Culture forward, team-oriented, safety-first, free coffee, nice lunchroom
