Job Description

As a Security Officer - Commercial Real Estate Patrol in Durham, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.

As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication to everyone you encounter. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order at the location.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and / or potential hazards.

Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.

Maintain a visible Allied Universal presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted behavior and / or unauthorized access.

Collaborate with property management and other personnel as needed to address security-related needs and support the overall operation of the commercial real estate location.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
