HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Bristol, Tennessee.

Job Description & Requirements

  • Shift : 12 hours, nights

Description :

  • Patient Ratio : 1 : 7 (must be pre-closed on this ratio before submission)
  • Schedule : 4x12hrs
  • Weekends : Every other weekend required
  • Call : None
  • Floating : Required to other units as needed
  • Certifications : AHA BLS required; NIHSS preferred
  • Experience : Minimum 1 year of experience; community hospital experience required
  • Travelers : First-time travelers accepted
  • Residency Requirement : Must live at least 100 miles from the facility

    • Orientation :

  • Begins on Sundays (online CBLs)
  • Traveler may start any Sunday once compliance documents are completed by the deadline

    • Scheduling Notes :

  • Hospital may cancel or call off one shift biweekly without financial penalty due to census decrease (applies to 36 / 36 or 36 / 48 schedules per agreement)
  • Additional shifts beyond scheduled hours may be flexed as needed without penalty

    • Additional Responsibilities :

  • Contract RN / LPN team members are expected to support nursing student education alongside regular clinical duties.
  • Active participation in mentoring and preparing future nurses is an essential part of the role at Ballad Health.
