Exciting opportunity for an Emergency Department Psychiatrist at the Bay Pines VA Healthcare System
The Bay Pines VA Healthcare System is seeking a skilled and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our Emergency Department team. This critical role offers the opportunity to provide immediate mental health care to Veterans during a time of crisis in a fast-paced, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide Triage and perform rapid psychiatric evaluations and risk assessments
- Collaborate with emergency medicine and an interdisciplinary team to stabilize patient
- Coordinate care transitions, including inpatient admission or outpatient treatment
Call coverage : 2-3 weekends a year
