The Opportunity We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and dedicated Special Education Aide to support students with learning differences in achieving academic and personal success. This role is ideal for someone who loves working one-on-one and in small groups with students, enjoys being part of a collaborative school team, and believes that every child — regardless of background or ability — can reach their fullest potential.

What You'll Do

• Instructional & Student Support : Provide academic and behavioral support to students individually, in small groups, and in classroom settings.
• Reinforce instruction in core reading and ELA areas, including decoding, phonics, comprehension, fluency, and vocabulary.
• Assist students in achieving their IEP goals, tracking progress, and celebrating growth.
• Encourage engagement and participation in classroom activities.
• Collaboration & Communication : Partner closely with the classroom teacher and Education Specialist to implement instructional plans and interventions; communicate regularly about student performance and behavior; maintain accurate records, logs, and reports as required.
• School Culture & Supervision : Supervise students during transitions, lunch, and P.E.; promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment that reflects Fortune School's mission and values; maintain confidentiality and uphold professional conduct at all times.
