A top Fortune 50 financial institution is currently seeking a Document and Research Liaison to support its consumer lending business unit. This role will serve as the primary representative for research, documentation, and legal case support, ensuring timely and effective resolution of escalated and complex matters.
About the Opportunity :
- Shift : 8am to 4 : 30pm ET
- Setting : Hybrid (onsite minimum 2 days per week / 8 days per month)
Responsibilities :
Serving as the primary liaison to the Office of General Counsel on legal matters related to consumer lendingInvestigating and responding to CFPB and BBB complaintsResearching and analyzing claims, actions, and compliance issues; updating procedures to minimize riskRequesting documentation from other business units to clarify or resolve cases within mandated timelinesSummarizing depositions and legal proceedings; preparing written summaries, analyses, and documentsLeading responses to escalated legal situations and informing attorneys of case impactPreparing regulatory, audit, and ad hoc reports in compliance with internal and external requirementsCollaborating with training teams to ensure accurate and consistent procedural guidelinesIdentifying process improvements, recommending solutions, and implementing enhancementsQualifications :
1+ year of experience in a related roleWorking knowledge of operational and regulatory risk controls, concepts, and practicesFamiliarity with NCUA rules, federal consumer lending laws, and document security measuresProficiency in Microsoft Word and ExcelExperience working with stakeholders at all levelsAdvanced skills in legal document analysis, research, and problem-solvingStrong organizational, planning, and time management abilitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skills with proven ability to build trust and rapportProven ability to manage multiple priorities independently and in team environmentsDesired Skills :
