Responsibilities of a Telecom Administrator
Remote Access Management
Configure, manage, and support RSA SecureID for secure remote access.Administer GlobalProtect VPN solutions to ensure secure connectivity for remote users.Monitor and troubleshoot remote access issues, ensuring high availability and performance.Citrix Phone Platform Administration
Manage and maintain the Citrix telephony infrastructure , including virtual desktop integration with phone systems.Support end-user configurations and resolve issues related to Citrix-based voice services.Coordinate with Citrix and telecom vendors for updates, patches, and escalations.Security & Compliance
Ensure remote access solutions comply with organizational security policies.Implement multi-factor authentication and access control policies.Conduct regular audits and reviews of remote access logs and configurations.User Support & Troubleshooting
Provide technical support for remote access and telephony-related issues.Assist users with VPN setup, token registration, and Citrix phone configurations.Document and resolve incidents in coordination with helpdesk and IT teams.Monitoring & Reporting
Monitor system performance and usage of RSA, GlobalProtect, and Citrix platforms.Generate reports on access patterns, usage statistics, and system health.Proactively identify and resolve potential issues to minimize downtime.Collaboration & Documentation
Work closely with network, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless integration.Maintain detailed documentation of configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps
