SUMMARY
The Production Control Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of scheduling, planning and deployment strategy for Huntington Beach products to achieve targeted customer service levels and cost targets.
The qualified candidate has demonstrated the ability to pursue innovative planning solutions based on an accurate assessment of business requirements. A successful track record of driving the planning process, and BOM management. The candidate must also have demonstrated the ability to create continuous improvement programs on related systems deployed to keep them current and relevant.

MRP Scheduling
Develop and maintain detailed production schedulesCoordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely execution and adherence to customer delivery timelinesProvide each department with a rolling three-month forecast of production schedules on a monthly basisWeekly Updates
Deliver weekly program updates to Project Managers in support of customer status calls and internal reviewsRFQs & RTPs
Partner with Procurement to order materials based on Engineering-approved BOMs and Project Manager buy-offMaterial Tracking & Management
Monitor material status, track deliveries, and manage inventory to avoid shortages and production delaysMaster Data Maintenance
Maintain accurate lead times, safety stock levels, and inventory, proactively flag material risks and shortagesJob Creation & Traveler Management
Create jobs and print travelers; collaborate with Engineering to resolve issues preventing timely job releaseDevelop, coordinate, and optimize production plans that align with Customer requirements, material availability, and delivery schedulesUse MRP / ERP systems efficiently to manage workflows and inventory planningAdjust schedules based on demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and changing prioritiesCollaborate with procurement and supply chain to ensure timely material availabilityAnalyze internal capacity and identify bottlenecks; implement proactive solutionsMonitor inventory across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods; minimize excess while maintaining production continuityCoordinate closely with manufacturing, engineering, procurement, and quality teams to ensure end-to-end process alignmentFlag and escalate engineering issues that may impact manufacturing deadlinesLead and participate in schedule reviews; communicate updates and priorities clearlyMonitor production progress; identify deviations and take corrective action to mitigate delaysIdentify and implement process improvements to reduce lead times and increase efficiencyMaintain accurate master data, including lead times and inventory thresholdsPrioritize and manage multiple tasks with critical thinking and flexibilityConduct root cause analysis on material and scheduling issues, and recommend preventive measuresDemonstrate strong organizational skills and effective verbal / written communicationProficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and preferably MS Project (training available if needed)Understand manufacturing processes; composite manufacturing experience is a plusEDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 2 years’ experience in manufacturing planning, scheduling, or operations managementProficiency in ERP and MES systems (EPICOR currently used)Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skillsWillingness to work late hours and weekends as needed to meet critical milestonesITAR REQUIREMENTS :
