Porter

We are seeking a Porter to join our team. The Porter will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the building, including common areas, restrooms, and other facilities. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently to ensure a welcoming environment for residents, guests, and staff.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in janitorial or custodial services preferred
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills

Responsibilities :

  • Clean and maintain common areas of the building, including hallways, lobbies, and other public spaces
  • Ensure restrooms are stocked and cleaned regularly
  • Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or fixing minor repairs
  • Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies
  • Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times

    • Additional Requirements :

  • Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods
  • Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and procedures
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when needed
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently
  • Good interpersonal skills and a positive attitude
