Job Overview :

Pharmaron is seeking a Senior Scientist to join our In Vivo team. In this high-impact role, you will lead preclinical studies with a strong emphasis on central nervous system (CNS) models , supporting pharmaceutical and cell and gene therapy programs . You will design, oversee, and interpret in vivo studies while ensuring scientific rigor, regulatory compliance, and effective collaboration across teams. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research in CNS and other therapeutic areas, while helping advance innovative therapies through preclinical development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, conduct, analysis, and reporting of in-vivo studies, ensuring scientific rigor and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with sponsors to develop scientifically sound and cost-effective study designs that meet project needs.
• Oversee study scheduling and resource allocation in coordination with in vivo scientists, veterinary staff, and QA / QC teams.
• Prepare study protocols and reports, maintaining high standards of accuracy and clarity.
• Provide subject matter expertise in animal handling, restraint, dosing, and surgical procedures in rodents and large animals.
• Act as a liaison between sponsors and internal teams, fostering transparent communication and timely responses to sponsor requests.
• Ensure all study activities adhere to regulatory guidelines (USDA, FDA, AAALAC, OSHA) and IACUC protocols.
• Contribute to internal research projects aimed at expanding and optimizing service offerings.
• Perform other duties as directed by Management.
