Kona Medical Consulting is actively looking for Behavior Interventionist. Successful candidates will be working under Learning and Behavioral Center. Below is the job full job details of the role :

Location :  3 schools in Glendale, CA

Assignments :  20 total (direct support or class support)

Pay Range :  $21–$23 / hour to start

Schedule :  School bell schedule still pending (assuming ~8 : 00 AM–2 : 30 PM, full-time)

What You'll Do :  As a Behavior Interventionist, you will be at the forefront of change, working closely with individuals to implement behavior intervention plans. You will make a real difference by promoting positive behaviors, fostering independence, and enhancing the quality of life for those you serve.

We offer center-based services filled with creative activities and therapeutic supplies, as well as services in schools, homes, and community settings.

We’re currently seeking part- and full-time interventionists.

Your responsibilities :

  • Provide high-quality direct ABA treatment to clients / students
  • Take detailed qualitative notes on behaviors and treatment goals in accordance with BACB and insurance standards
  • Manually record all hours worked and distinguish between supervised and unsupervised time in accordance with BACB standards
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the facility and other responsibilities necessary for the day-to-day operations of Learning and Behavioral Center, Inc
  • Gain experience in Applied Behavioral Analysis and work with individuals with various special needs

  • Qualifications :

  • This is an entry level position, but experience in ABA is a plus.
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Be able to comply with COVID mandates
  • Minimum of a high-school diploma
  • Experience working with children is a plus, but not required
  • Understanding of developmental disabilities is preferred, but not required
