St. Bernard, LA : Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to inspect completed fabrication projects to ensure quality and conformity to customer specifications.

Essential Duties :

• Perform inspections as needed for nonconforming receipt inspection
• Inspect welds for conformity to codes such as D1.1 / 5
• Calibrate inspection equipment and tools
• Perform final inspections
• Measure overall characteristics of parts
• Report inspection results
• Inspect grade, shape, and thickness of incoming material
• Ensure bolt specifications align with purchase orders
• Measure paint thickness levels
• Maintain accurate inspection records
• Identify non-conforming material
• Review condition of incoming consumables and paint
• Confirm proper gauges are used for measuring weld sizes
• Ensure only calibrated tools are used during inspections
