Performance of exceptional quality routine and specialized Ultrasound procedures at the request licensed independent practitioner for interpretation by radiologists. The Specialist integrates scientific knowledge; technical skills, patient interaction and compassionate care resulting in diagnostic information, and recognizes patient conditions essential for successful completion of the procedure. The Specialist must demonstrate a detailed understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology.

Required- Graduate of a formal diagnostic Radiology program

Required- BLS American Heart Association

Required - RVT - Cert-Registered Vascular TECH American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) Required within 18 months of entry into the role

Must also have one of these certifications : RDMS-AB - RDMS in Abdomen American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) OR RDMS-OB - Reg Diag Med Sonographer OBGYN American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) OR RDMS-PS - RDMS in Pedi Sonography American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) OR S-ARRT - ARRT RegTech Sonography American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
