Fire Alarm Service Technician

Overview

Egan is seeking Fire Alarm Service Technicians for opportunities around the Greater Twin Cities area. This is a union position with top-rate wages, healthcare, retirement and vacation benefits. We are looking for independent, customer-service oriented individuals who will consistently adhere to safety standards.

Responsibilities

The basic responsibilities of the Fire Alarm Service Technicianinclude but are not limited to the following :

• Service and repair specified electronic life safety systems and peripheral device
• Programming Fire Alarm Systems Notifier experience is a plus
• Assist with the start-up and commissioning of new equipment or system installation
• Train and instruct new users on a life safety equipment
• Work with dispatch coordinators to get service requests accomplished in a timely manner
• Completion of daily communications to the office and customer

Pay Rate : $33.44-$47.73 per hour (wage rate / classification as defined in the IBEW Limited Energy Minnesota Statewide Agreement).
