Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Team Government in Miami, FL , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

Join Allied Universal as an armed patrol professional, where you'll monitor and patrol designated government locations to help foster a secure environment. As a visible presence, you will conduct routine patrols to help to deter security-related incidents and interact with the public, delivering outstanding customer service. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, potential hazards, or security-related incidents to the appropriate authorities in accordance with site protocols.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter disruptive or criminal behavior within the transit system and surrounding areas.
  • Interact with the public and / or employees in a courteous and professional manner, providing assistance as needed while upholding Allied Universal standards.
  • Carry and maintain assigned firearms and equipment in accordance with company and location policies, adhering to all regulatory requirements.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have three or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience or possess a college degree.
  • Possess an armed guard card or license as required by law.
  • Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
