job_description.job_card.job_descriptionHigh school diploma or equivalent. A passion for healthcare and a commitment to patient welfare. CCHT certification is highly preferred. Previous experience in a healthcare setting, particularly in dialysis. Comfort with mixing medical solutions according to protocols. Ability to distinguish all primary colors. Successful completion of the USRC training program, including competency in hemodialysis theory and practice within 8 weeks of hire. CPR certification must be obtained within 90 days of hire or as per state requirements. Patient Care Technician certification is required through a state or nationally recognized certification program within 18 months of your hire date and must remain in good standing.

In this hands-on position, you'll work closely with a cross-functional team, collaborating under the supervision of registered nurses to deliver exceptional dialysis treatment.
Your Responsibilities :
- Delivering Patient Care : Engage directly with patients to ensure a safe and comfortable dialysis experience. You will be responsible for gathering vital patient information before and after treatments, initiating therapies, monitoring patients, and collecting blood samples as per physician orders.
- Performing Technician Duties : Ensure the highest quality care by preparing and cleaning dialysis machines post-treatment and conducting safety checks, maintaining a strict adherence to all protocols and regulations.
- Ensuring Safety and Quality : Utilize appropriate safety measures and personal protective equipment. Follow all company policies while participating in required staff meetings and continuing education initiatives.
