Description :

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for a medical surgical / telemetry unit specializing in solid organ transplant, thoracic surgery, and hepatology patient populations.

This unit provides highly acute care for patients undergoing solid organ transplants.

This includes lung, liver, kidney, and pancreas recipients, as well as living organ donors.

Staffing ratios for transplant patients generally range from 2 : 1 to 3 : 1 to ensure safe and quality care during their acute phases of healing.

Other patients are typically staffed at a 4 : 1 to 5 : 1 ratio.

The thoracic surgery program is recognized nationally for performing advanced surgical procedures.

The nursing team works closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal care throughout the continuum of care.
