Knapheide Truck Equipment Center in Birmingham, AL is looking to hire a skilled Production Planner to schedule all shop orders required to meet customer requests. This full-time position works Monday - Friday from 6 : 00 AM - 4 : 00 PM.

What you'll be doing :

Work with scheduling software to maintain accurate shop order dates

Review all order revision and make appropriate changes to orders and communicate changes with the appropriate personnel

Prepare and maintain effective assembly schedules through daily updates with respective team leaders

Set up inbound loads of products

Review shortage and expedite though all operations to meet shop order completions

Capacity recommendations to maintain valid schedule through proposed overtime or manpower

Review and monitor established run rates and customer lead time

Interact with order entry, fleet and truck pool departments for inquiries, customer requests, and cancellations

Experience you'll need :

Ability to lift / move up to 50 pounds

This position may require travel for training.
