Job Description
RESPEC is hiring seasoned Software Developers (Developer / Programmer Analyst 3) to support a State & Local client in modernizing and enhancing critical applications serving thousands of end users. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in enterprise-scale development , delivering innovative solutions, and collaborating in Agile environments.
As a Developer / Programmer Analyst 3, you will design reporting frameworks, enhance legacy systems, integrate complex databases, and drive application modernization initiatives that directly support mission-critical programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build new reporting frameworks using .NET 8.0 / 9.0, Blazor, C#, and Visual Studio .
- Enhance and support existing applications, including Crystal Reports integrated with Oracle databases.
- Develop scalable, high-performance financial system solutions with advanced Oracle integration.
- Collaborate across multiple stakeholders to ensure project accuracy and effectiveness.
- Partner with DevOps teams to maintain and improve CI / CD pipelines, automation, and deployments.
- Apply modern design principles and deliver innovative solutions to modernize legacy applications.
- Contribute across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within a SCRUM / Agile environment.
Qualifications
8+ years in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) .8+ years with Entity Framework .8+ years working with Oracle (PL / SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning, database management) .8+ years applying software design principles and data modeling.6+ years with Blazor (Server / WSM) and Fluent UI .Bitbucket for version control.Nomad and Consul ..NET 8.0 / 9.0, C#, Visual Studio .Nice to Have :
Agile / SCRUM methodologies .JIRA, TEMPO, Bitbucket, and Confluence .3+ years of state agency project experience (Texas or other state-level preferred).Additional Information
