Job Details :

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manufacturing Project Engineer to join our team. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to work on multiple projects in the engineering industry. The chosen candidate will be responsible for managing schedules, providing technical support, and interfacing with customers. This role requires a deep understanding of the Department of Defense regulations, medical production processes, machine shop operations, and development manufacturing. If you are a problem solver with a knack for innovation and a passion for engineering, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities :

1. Manage and oversee multiple engineering projects from inception to completion, ensuring they meet quality standards and are completed within the given timeline and budget.

2. Collaborate with various departments to ensure smooth project execution, including procurement, production, quality, and logistics.

3. Interface with customers to understand their requirements and provide technical solutions that meet their needs.

4. Ensure compliance with Department of Defense regulations across all projects.

5. Oversee medical production processes, ensuring efficiency and adherence to safety standards.

6. Manage machine shop operations, maintaining an effective workflow and ensuring the proper maintenance and operation of machinery.

7. Lead the development manufacturing processes, implementing innovative strategies to optimize efficiency and quality.

8. Provide technical support and guidance to the team, fostering a learning environment.

9. Prepare and present project updates and progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.

10. Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Qualifications :

1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field is required. A Master's Degree is preferred.

2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Engineering industry.

3. Proven experience managing multiple projects, with a strong understanding of schedule management.

4. Extensive knowledge of Department of Defense regulations.

5. Experience in medical production and machine shop operations.

6. Strong technical acumen, with the ability to understand and solve complex engineering problems.

7. Excellent customer interface skills, with the ability to understand and meet customer requirements.

8. Experience in development manufacturing, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.

9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead teams and collaborate with various departments.

10. Strong problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovative solutions.

11. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.

12. Professional Engineering (PE) license is preferred.
