Description :

Travel opportunity for a CT Tech.

The unit has 4 CT machines.

Typically, there is 1 RN and 4 techs on day shift, while night shifts have 2.5 techs on 2nd and 2 techs on 3rd.

The patient volume in April averaged 95 exams per day.

All equipment is GE, including 32, 64, and 512 slice units.

EMR is used for documentation.

Experience with GE equipment is preferred.

Experience in a level 1 trauma facility is beneficial.

Experience with stroke patients is a plus.

Procedures performed on the unit include CTA scans, CT biopsies, perfusion studies, and various CT exams.

The ideal candidate will be hard-working and motivated.

They must be able to work independently after orientation.

The CT department is highly advanced and utilizes current technology.

We handle a high volume of emergency, inpatient, and trauma patients.

This facility offers a great opportunity to gain experience in a variety of studies.
