We're looking for a Digital Content Specialist with a passion for storytelling, a sharp eye for detail, and a data-driven mindset to help shape how public sector organizations connect with their audiences. You'll bring both creative and analytical strengths to the table, helping to build and execute content strategies that align with mission objectives, grow engagement, and deliver measurable outcomes.

You'll be part of a team modernizing how government and mission-focused clients use digital channels, especially web and social media, to inform, inspire, and lead.

You Have

5+ years of experience in digital content strategy and execution

Experience writing and editing social media copies for platforms such as X and LinkedIn

Experience developing and managing website content with an eye towards UX, accessibility, and strategic messaging

Experience developing and maintaining editorial calendars and coordinating across teams

Knowledge of metrics and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Sprout, Hootsuite, and native platform insights, to inform content decisions

Ability to interpret data to optimize content performance and drive engagement

Ability to be a storyteller and adapt tone, voice, and message to different audiences and platforms

Ability to obtain a Secret clearance

Bachelor's degree in a Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or Public Relations field

Nice If You Have

Experience supporting public sector or mission-driven communications

Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Drupal, or Adobe Experience Manager

Experience with graphic design, including Canva and Adobe Creative Suite

Experience with content governance and digital accessibility best practices such as Section 508

Experience with SEO principles and optimizing web copies accordingly

Experience working with the venture capital community, including startup ecosystems, dual-use tech, or investor engagement strategies

Clearance

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
