AppleOne is seeking to recruit an experienced Central Operations Support Specialist to lead complex deposit operations and support cross-functional teams. This on-site position in Fresno, CA offers a unique opportunity to serve as a subject matter expert in back-office banking operations, drive strategic improvements, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior resource and SME for deposit operations, mentoring junior specialists and resolving escalated issues.
• Oversee high-value transactions, reconciliation of discrepancies, and regulatory reporting.
• Manage advanced electronic transactions including ACH, wire transfers, treasury services, and mobile deposits.
• Lead audits and ensure timely resolution of findings.
• Develop and refine operational procedures to improve efficiency and compliance.
• Handle legal actions such as garnishments, levies, and subpoenas in coordination with legal counsel.
• Oversee dormant account management and escheatment processes.
• Manage IRA processing and ensure tax compliance for distributions and contributions.
• Perform and train others on advanced General Ledger reconciliations.
• Support W-8 / W-9 certifications, B-Notice processing, and year-end tax reporting (e.g., 1099, 1099R).
• Maintain expertise in payment workflows across platforms like Fiserv DNA and the Federal Reserve.
• Oversee Zelle dispute handling and ensure alignment with program and bank policies.
