Summary :
Perform bench assembly and installation of mechanical and structural components in accordance with engineering data and manufacturing plans.
Execute functional and operational tests of mechanical components and systems; document results per test procedures.
Troubleshoot and correct discrepancies using engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, and authorized technical data.
Follow work instructions, blueprints, and manufacturing documentation to assemble, install, remove, or replace aircraft components and hardware.
Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work area in adherence with all EHS and tooling requirements.
Perform additional tasks as assigned to support production and delivery goals.
Requirements :
High School Diploma or GED required.
4+ years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g., vocational training or Associate degree + 2 years related experience).
Experience in aviation mechanical and structural assembly, with knowledge of production processes, composites, and structural manufacturing.
Ability to interpret and apply engineering drawings, change memos, and test procedures.
Proficient with specialized tools such as cornice brakes, rivet squeezers, metal shears, crimpers, multimeters, and related equipment.
Ability to read, interpret, and apply engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Knowledge of FOD prevention, material handling, safety, calibration, and ESD procedures.
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
