Sales Manager, SMB
We're looking for a hands-on, goal-oriented leader to drive performance and fuel growth in our Small and Medium Business (SMB) segment. As the Sales Manager, SMB, you'll be responsible for hitting targets, coaching the team, and turning strategy into action across products and territories.
This role is all about impact : building and refining sales processes, motivating your team, tracking results, and making sure we're always pushing forward. Under the direction of the Vice President of Commercial Sales, the Sales Manager will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to align execution with big-picture goals. You will own the sales forecast and performance plan for your division.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and motivate the SMB sales team to hit and exceed individual and team goals (55%)
- Ride-a-longs with SMB Representatives to customer meetings for coaching and support
- Performance management and performance appraisals for direct reports
- Accurate and timely approval of timesheets, time-off requests, and expenses
- Maintaining compliance with all company policies
- Ensuring all supervisory actions comply with applicable laws and regulations
- Facilitating regular individual and team meetings to discuss goals, progress, and challenges
- Create territory strategies and day-to-day sales plans that drive results by product line (10%)
- Partner across departments to support sales ops, marketing campaigns, and customer engagement (10%)
- Build and maintain a 3-month rolling forecast and track progress against quota (5%)
- Use data to guide decisions, identify opportunities, and keep the team focused (5%)
- Give feedback on competitive analysis, pricing strategy, and market trends (5%)
- Own and manage the P&L for the SMB segment (5%)
- Complete other duties as assigned (5%)
Schedule and Work Environment

High school diplomaMinimum of 3 years of experience in the telecommunications or adjacent industryMinimum of 3 years as a business manager or relevant managerial roleProven success in leading sales teams and driving revenue growthStrong grasp of forecasting, planning, and sales executionAbility to inspire action, hold teams accountable, and stay agile in a fast-moving environmentExperience working cross-functionally to align business goals and remove roadblocksProven experience with business and strategy development processesValid driver's license and a safe driving recordThe Ideal Candidate Will Meet The Criteria Above And
