Journeyman Maintenance Electrician

Environmental Solutions Group Heil Environmental is seeking a skilled Journeyman Maintenance Electrician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will oversee electrical installations, ensure compliance with safety regulations and the NEC, lead electrical outages, perform critical repairs, perform small electrical installations and maintain the highest standards of workmanship throughout all work performed.

Roles and Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee all electric and power installations in collaboration with the Facilities Manager, project managers and other engineering professionals.
• Ensure all electrical work performed complies with the national, state, and local electrical codes and regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues safely and promptly.
• Maintain records of all electrical equipment and ensure preventative maintenance schedules are upheld.
• Provide leadership and training to apprentice electricians and helpers.
• Ensure that all safety protocols are followed in compliance to NFPA 70E to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Perform LOTO for planned electrical outages for additions to the electrical systems or removals.
• Lead emergency electrical scenarios as they arise and resolve safely and promptly.
• Perform small new installations of circuitry up to 480 volts.
• Travel to ESG facilities and perform electrical work up to 25% of the time.
