Overview
Safety Specialist at University of California, Riverside. The Safety Specialist collaborates with campus units to administer EH&S compliance programs, perform routine and impromptu audits, provide training and outreach, apply technical knowledge in campus EH&S issues, and ensure procedures are properly followed. The role supports a comprehensive and holistic safety program by serving as a safety liaison to multiple departments and working with EH&S subject matter experts, Risk and Insurance Management, Occupational Health, Office of Emergency Management and Training. The full salary range for the position is $75,900 - $137,300 annually. The expected pay scale is $73,600 - $106,600 annually. Salary offers are based on education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business needs. Federal, state, or local directives may impose additional requirements. Applicants must have current work authorization; UC Riverside does not sponsor employment visas for staff. As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and / or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time.
