Job Description

As a Security Professional - Hospital Morgue Patrol in Wexford, PA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol designated hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. Your role will involve supporting hospital operations, including specialized areas such as vaccine clinics and the morgue, and assisting with security-related needs as they arise. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the healthcare environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or potential hazards.
  • Observe and report suspicious activity, security-related concerns, and / or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist medical staff, visitors, and patients with directions and information as needed, while maintaining professional conduct.
  • Document incidents, observations, and daily activities in accordance with Allied Universal procedures and site requirements.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must be fully vaccinated as required by hospital policies.
  • Must be able to work in or near hospital morgue environments.
  • Must be able to restrain individuals in hospital settings as needed.
  • X-ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
