Job Overview / Summary :

Pulivarthi Group is seeking a Hospital Pharmacist to join a leading healthcare institution. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the safe, effective, and evidence-based use of medications through distribution, clinical consultation, and patient education. This role requires a high level of clinical expertise, attention to detail, and strong collaboration within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Responsibilities :

Oversee the preparation, distribution, and monitoring of medications.

Provide drug therapy consultations and education to healthcare professionals and patients.

Conduct ongoing drug therapy monitoring to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.

Support formulary management and medication safety initiatives.

Participate in staff education, orientation, and training on pharmacological practices.

Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff or students when applicable.

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, regulations, and accreditation standards.

Primary Skills :

Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and therapeutic guidelines.

Proficiency in medication order review and verification systems.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills in a clinical setting.

Attention to accuracy and ability to work independently.

Qualifications :

Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy.

Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree or equivalent experience (Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy with at least 2 years of relevant practice).

Current Florida Pharmacist License or eligibility to obtain within 60 days of employment.

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required within 3 months of hire).

Preferred : Completion of an accredited pharmacy residency.

Preferred : Experience in an academic or hospital pharmacy environment.

Preferred : Leadership experience, scholarly contributions, and teaching interest.
