Job Description

Responsible for aligning strategies, operations, and physician relationships within either primary care or specialty care clinic operations. Position will provide operational support and oversight of the Directors of Business Operations for Primary Care or Specialty Care clinics. Position will partner with Service Line leaders around growth and strategy for related service lines. Scope includes all primary care or specialty care providers (physicians and APPs) across designated service lines, disciplines, or regions as assigned. This position is a dyadic operational partner to the AVP of Medical Operations for designated disciplines. This position reports to the Vice President, Physician Practice Operations for Primary Care or Specialty Care. Role will provide operational support and oversight for Primary Care Physician Practices. Operational experience in Primary Care and Value Based Care strongly preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

Education : Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration or related field required; Master's degree preferred.

Licenses / Certifications : Fellowship status in ACHE or MGMA is preferred.

Experience / Knowledge / Skills : Five (5) years of progressive leadership in healthcare. Five (5) years of progressive experience in physician group practice management. Effective problem-solving, critical-thinking, organizational, interpersonal, and written / verbal communication skills; must demonstrate and promote a strong commitment to achieving customer satisfaction. Effective leadership abilities to influence and engage the workforce to drive exceptional end-to-end delivery of care. Possesses expert direct performance management acumen. Microsoft Office suite competency required; clinic information systems is preferred.

Principal Responsibilities

  • Aligns strategies, operations, and physician relationships within Primary Care or Specialty Care clinic operations.
  • Provides hands on operational support and oversight to Directors of Business Operations in Primary Care or Specialty Care clinics as aligned in coordination with clinical and medical operations.
  • Supports partnerships with service lines in strategic growth related to designated disciplines.
  • Encourages collaboration between Primary Care or Specialty Care clinics and service lines to drive standardization in operations, strategy execution, and identification of ongoing optimization. Ensures a culture that embraces collaboration, continuous financial and operational improvement while recognizing and implementing initiatives to optimize operations and profitability.
