We’re looking for a Senior Staff Accountant who’s curious, analytical, and ready to help shape that story alongside our CFO and Controller. This is a perfect opportunity for an individual who is detail-oriented, communicates effectively, technically capable, intellectually curious and holds a deep desire to solve problems, and efficiently delivers a quality work product in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and reconcile general ledger accounts; investigate and resolve discrepanciesManage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and timelinessPrepare and review journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliationsMaintain integrity of financial data across information systems and databasesAnalyze complex business and financial data to support decision-makingOversee cash receipts, deposits, and reconciliations, ensuring compliance with internal controlsPost and reconcile customer payments, including cash, checks, and credit card transactionsPrepare, review, and process weekly payroll with a high degree of accuracyAssist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including financial reporting and variance analysisSupport audits (internal and external) by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and documentationPartner cross-functionally to ensure compliance with GAAP and internal policiesRequirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field5–7 years of progressive accounting experience (public / private mix a plus)Strong knowledge of GAAP (3+ years preferred)Demonstrated experience with month-end close and financial reportingWillingness to submit to drug and background screeningsExpertise Needed
Intercompany accounting and reconciliationsProficiency with QuickBooks Online and Concur (or similar ERP / expense platforms)Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and modelingExperience with cash management and reconciliationsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlinesProven analytical, troubleshooting, and critical thinking skillsAbility to work independently while also collaborating effectively across teamsStrong attention to detail with excellent proofreading skillsHigh-level data-entry accuracy and efficiencyExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearlyAttributes for Success
