Welding job description :
1. Perform basic MIG welding operations including tack welding under supervision.
2. Grind welds and fabricated parts to remove excess material and prepare surfaces.
3. Inspect completed welds visually to identify basic defects such as cracks, undercuts, or incomplete fusion.
4. Assist in setting up workstations by preparing materials, tools and equipment.
5. Read and interpret simple blueprints, drawings, or weld symbols to determine job specifications
