Application Developer

Our customer is a privately held security company specializing in the design, installation, and monitoring of alarm systems for residential and commercial clients.

Founded in 1946, the company is headquartered in Concord, California, with 15 locations primarily across California and Washington.

As an Application Developer, you will develop internal and externally facing applications, manage servers, and support existing sites and applications. You will collaborate with business units to define functional specifications and deliver innovative solutions efficiently and effectively.

Essential Job Functions

• Execute end-to-end development : specify, develop, test, deploy, and document.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications, websites, and web servers for high availability.
• Collaborate with Linux and Windows administrative teams when designing and deploying new applications.
• Partner with internal departments for new deployments.
• Maintain high levels of systems security and integrity within the development environment.
• Leverage new technologies to enhance existing services and create new offerings.
• Clearly articulate internet and intranet-related project goals.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Serve as a subject matter expert.

Technical Proficiencies

Compensation : $90,000 - 117,000 base salary DOE, plus an excellent benefits package, and a yearly bonus
