• Hybrid Job Description for the Procurement Analyst Essential Roles and Responsibilities :
• The Procurement Analyst serves as a primary interface from Global procurement for designated Tariff Mitigation and GP improvement projects.
• This associate has direct accountability for the execution, quality and results for the assigned projects and / or portfolio of Direct spend categories.
• Ensures business needs are integrated into leveraged category spend with clear value proposition for the assigned business to execute on tactical sourcing.
• Engages Business and Operations stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely execution.
• Works collaboratively with global category managers and procurement managers in driving leveraged commercial engagements and value.
• Actively identifies gaps, proposes and implements changes necessary to close gaps, which may be related to supplier, processes or related commercial issues. The Procurement Analyst is accountable for :
• Overall management and delivery of savings and value through implementation of category projects and strategies for the assigned projects.
• E2E sourcing execution to improve financial position through cost savings, cost avoidance and non-price value opportunities. Requirements :
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 2-years of equivalent work experience in Strategic sourcing / Supply chain.
• Self-starter, broad business acumen and a good understanding of the external macro environment.
• Apt in developing strong working relationships and able to influence in a matrix organization.
• Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills
• Passion for challenging the status quo.
• Ability to work independently and with others in a fast-paced, results oriented environment
