Sr. Database Administrator PureLogics No Magic, Just Logic

Role Overview :

We are looking for an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) with strong expertise in MySQL and PostgreSQL to manage, maintain, and optimize our database systems. The role requires hands-on experience in performance tuning, replication, troubleshooting, and ensuring high availability of production environments.

Responsibilities :

• Administer, manage, and tune MySQL and PostgreSQL databases for optimal performance.
• Maintain and troubleshoot production database server issues.
• Configure and manage clustering, replication, and partitioning.
• Design, manage, and optimize indexing, stored procedures, triggers, and views.
• Write and optimize complex SQL statements.
• Manage database replications, archiving, and RDS.
• Ensure compliance with information legislation such as the Data Protection Act.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in a Linux environment.

Required Skills : Must-Have Skills :

Proven experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL.

Strong knowledge of structured query language (SQL), Unix, and DBMS.

Expertise in database replication, partitioning, and performance tuning.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think algorithmically.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills :

Experience with Oracle and SQL Server.

Exposure to NoSQL databases.

Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure).

Familiarity with On-Prem Databases.
