Overview

Commercial Lines Insurance Account Manager needed for an Independent Insurance Agency located

Hours : 8 am to 5 : 30 pm

  • DURATION

Direct Hire

  • WORKPLACE

    • Hybrid schedule (4 days in-office, 1 day remote)

  • PAY

    • Depending on experience, $100,000 – 120,000 base salary. (To qualify for 110k base salary +, candidate MUST HAVE 5 years recent commercial lines account manager experience & EPIC!)

    Responsibilities

  • Job Duties can include, but are not limited to : Successfully complete Client Administrator duties, and backup as needed, for account servicing needs during the policy year including but not limited to : binders, certificates, evidence of property, auto ID cards, motor vehicle records, endorsements, invoicing, audits, claims, cancellations, policy checks, etc.
  • Manage the new business and renewal process; review risk management surveys. Identify exposure to loss and advise client on appropriate coverages.
  • Complete submissions to market new and renewal accounts to insurance carriers.
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate coverage terms and pricing.
  • Work with underwriters to obtain additional information from clients.
  • Explain payment requirements to new and existing clients.

    • Requirements

  • Minimum five years' experience recently working as a CL Account Manager, working within an independent agency environment.
  • The qualified candidate must hold an active CA Property / Casualty license.
  • Bachelors or Associates is required!
  • Stable job history needed. Meaning 3+ years at prior jobs held.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • EPIC experience Required!
  • Must be an effective communicator; both written and verbal.
  • Have strong editing and writing skills.
  • Must be organized, able to multi-task and work in a team environment
