Cusdial Worker (Floor Experience Required)
This position will be working in Annapolis, MD at the United States Naval Academy. The core working hours are 5 : 30 - 10 : 30pm Tue & Fri, 6 - 11pm Mon / Wed / Thu, Rotating Weekends and Holidays. Starting pay is $19.66 per hour. This site is governed by a collective bargaining agreement. This position requires that the employee must successfully complete criminal history information background check and drug screening and be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
Qualifications
Floor Care Experience is required
- Strip and Wax Floors
- Use of buffers
- Shampooing of carpets
Supervisor experience is required
Successfully management of custodial workersKey Responsibilities
Sweeps and mops hallways, stairs and offices.Empties tenants' waste baskets and dispose the trash in prescribed mannerDusts horizontal surfacesCleans bathroomsWaxes and buffs floors with prescribed buffersCleans glass and windowsWashes walls and other vertical surfacesPerforms snow removal if required by contract specificationsPolishes kick panels, door knobs and other designated fixturesStrips and waxes floorsVacuum rugsMixes cleaning solutionsMaintains issued equipmentNotifies supervisor when supplies and equipment are needed to perform tasksSupervises activities of assigned workers on a temporary basis while performing own workAssumes responsibility of crew during the absence of the foremanPerforms all other duties assigned by Custodial ForemanPhysical Qualifications
