Equipment Operator

The position involves managing vehicles that are brought in for scrapping by draining all fluids from them. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to use hand and power tools effectively. Candidates must be comfortable working in a very dirty environment. There is also an opportunity to operate equipment and learn how to run the shredder.

Work Environment

This role is based in a metal recycling facility, primarily working outdoors in the yard with various outbuildings for different tasks. You will be exposed to the elements, but equipment cabs are enclosed and heated. Core working hours are from 7 am to 3 : 30 pm, with the yard open from 5 am to 5 pm, allowing for flexible scheduling.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Green Bay, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00 / hr.
