About The Position

Job Title : MRI Tech

Certifications : ARMRIT or ARRT MR, BLS required

Must-Have :

• PACS and Siemens experience
• Previous Charge experience required
• EPIC experience
• Adult Acute care, Adult ICU, Adult Outpatient, ED Trauma experience required
• Pediatric Acute Care experience preferred

Description :

The position requires a schedule of 4x9 hours, Monday through Thursday, from 10 PM to 7 : 30 AM.

No weekends or call responsibilities are involved.

Candidates must be flexible with scheduling and understand that there is a zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences.

Mandatory skills include performing abdominal, pelvic, and chest MRI scans.

Experience with brain imaging and spinal trauma is essential.

Isolation precautions, preparation, and administration of contrast media, as well as starting peripheral IVs, are required tasks.

Knowledge of gradient echo imaging, spin echo images, and weighted images is necessary.

The candidate should demonstrate competence in multiple MRI procedures and techniques.

The position may involve floating to other campuses if needed.

Compliance requirements must be fulfilled on time before the start date.

Preparation for a pass / fail EKG exam during compliance is necessary.

Candidates should plan accordingly for study materials as they are not provided.
