Job Title : Medical Customer Service Representative – Melville, NY ($20–$22 / hr, Temp-to-Hire) Location : Melville, NY Employment Type : Temp-to-Hire Compensation : $20–$22 per hour Industry : Healthcare / Medical Services About the Opportunity : A leading healthcare organization in Melville, NY is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Customer Service Representative to join their growing team. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering competitive pay and the chance to make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and providers. Key Responsibilities :

  • Handle inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and empathy
  • Assist patients, providers, and internal teams with inquiries related to medical services, billing, and appointments
  • Accurately document interactions and maintain patient confidentiality
  • Navigate healthcare systems and databases to retrieve and update patient information
  • Resolve issues efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in a medical or healthcare setting is required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and data entry
  • High school diploma or equivalent
