job_description.job_card.job_descriptionMaintains safety of Facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines including conducting safety sweeps, forklift spotting procedures, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, following Company standards, and reporting unsafe situations to Management Cleans all areas of the Facility (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) using approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment Ensures a safe and clean environment for Members and Associates by performing maintenance as necessary, responding to spills, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash per the Company Environmental Sustainability Program Maintains appropriate levels of Company-approved chemicals and supplies, rotates and stores chemicals properly, and places orders to replenish supplies when low Health benefits include medical, vision and dental coverage Financial benefits include 401(k), stock purchase and company-paid life insurance PTO and other paid time off : vacation, sick leave, holidays, parental and family care leave; eligibility varies by job classification and length of employment Other benefits include disability coverage, company discounts, and additional leave programs Must be 18 years of age or older Outlined below are the optional preferred qualifications for this position. Position Summary : Are you ready to help shape a member's entire shopping experience by giving them a positive first and last impression? We are looking for people who take pride in their work to join our team. As a Maintenance Associate at Sam's Club, you are responsible for ensuring members see a well-kept parking lot, clean restrooms, and clean floors. This means you are constantly on your feet and on the go. However, maintaining a positive attitude will ensure customers have a great experience from start to finish.
You will be evaluated on your ability to adapt to different work scenarios while keeping member satisfaction as a top priority and maintaining a safe, clean environment.
You will demonstrate your suitability by :
