Job Description
Under the guidance of the Manager of Rehab Medicine, and level II and III Physical Therapists, the level I Physical Therapist is responsible for the evaluation and treatment of the patient's needs following disability, injury, disease, or amputation, to help attain a maximum level of independence and performance. The therapist plans treatment programs and administers modalities and other related procedures, under the prescription of the patient's physician. Treatment will be provided in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position's qualifications, professional practices, and ethical standards. He / she is responsible for documenting and communicating all necessary information to all appropriate parties. The therapist is responsible for the care of patients in all patient care areas of OSU Medical Center, as the situation requires. The therapist may also supervise Physical Therapist Assistants. The therapist must follow standards of performance for Physical Therapy as established by all governing bodies. He / she also performs other duties as required.
Qualifications
Education :
License : OK Physical therapy License
(New graduates must take the exam within 3 months and receive full licensure within 9 months)
Certification : BLS
